Objective

To educate the market on the need for high-performance processors and position Netronome as a leading provider of network flow processors.

Strategy

Mindshare PR focuses on the increasing need for high-performance networking solutions and develops unique story angles that are relevant to readers of any publication, not simply the traditional semiconductor trade publications. Mindshare PR's outreach strategy has been to create and maintain relationships with key industry media and analysts, offering them opportunities to speak with the company's experts on relevant and timely topics. In addition, we place educational articles in publications to continually increase the visibility of the company, position the executives as thought leaders and raise the awareness of network flow processors as a market sector.

Results

Mindshare PR launched Netronome's first silicon product on May 27, 2009 and secured approximately 20 top-tier media briefings. This success resulted in in-depth coverage in semiconductor and general IT publications including EE Times, Light Reading, V3.co.uk and InfoWorld. In addition, Mindshare PR also helped place coverage in publications local to the company's US headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania including Pop City, Pittsburgh Post Gazette and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. The regional coverage has raised the company's local visibility and led to an increase in highly-talented applicants. Additionally, the strategically placed national and local exposure has also led to the publication of more than 13 contributed articles and to Netronome being recognized with a number of industry awards, including being named one of the best places to work in Pittsburgh in 2010, as a finalist to the Pittsburgh Technology Council Tech 50, one of Pittsburgh's fastest growing companies in 2010 by the Pittsburgh Business Times, and a winner of the Red Herring Top 100 North America award.
