In April 2014 Equinix expanded upon its data center co-location leadership by launching the Equinix Cloud Exchange, offering interconnections among enterprises and major public cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft Azure and IBM Softlayer as well as telecommunications providers and hundreds of SaaS providers.
